FGC8 proved to be a stressful year for Chuck and it had nothing to do with play on the course. After being pressured by Team Blue’s captain to calculate Best Teammate on a bar napkin immediately after the final round, ole Chuck accidentally awarded the FGC8 title to Carl – only to have to pull it back once scores were plugged into the terminal. But focusing on golf, not his expanding family or $200k patio project, Chuck is looking to maintain his upward trajectory on the golf course. Back to the bar napkin – given that Gehrke is part of “Team Stats” for the FGC, are we really sure that the Jeremy’s didn’t manipulate the spreadsheet formulas to guarantee Gehrke a win – splitting the prize money? The masses will never know, but I’m sure Chuck does.
